Integrated quality, environment & occupational health & safety management system

At GINESTA we try to improve on a daily basis, offering a better response to the customer. A good example of this is the fact that we work in accordance with an integrated management system which follows the guidelines of regulations UNE EN ISO 9001:2008 for QUALITY; UNE EN ISO 14001:2004 for ENVIRONMENT and OHSAS 18001:2007 for HEALTH AND SAFETY IN THE WORKPLACE. In fact, we are pioneers in working with these Health and Safety regulations in the slope stabilisation, landslide prevention, gardening and landscaping, treated wood construction and forestry industries. The OHSAS, published in 1999, was drafted jointly by six certifying bodies and four standardisation entities (Spain, United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia) and, as is the case with 14001 for environment, it is based on legal compliance.

This integrated quality, environment and occupational health and safety management system is certified by the prestigious English organisation Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), an organisation recognised by the Entidad Nacional de Acreditación y Certificación (ENAC) (The National Accreditation and Certification Body).

As part of this management system, for each of our projects we write up a Project Management Plan which contains all of the recommendations and actions needed to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance with the criteria established in our company policy. In this way we work with quality management to provide added value to offer to our clients, with respect for the environment, in such a way as to benefit the society around us, and managing the health and safety which affects everyone who is involved in our projects.
